I absolutely adore fictional non-fiction - fake academia, fake news articles, and ofc fake instruction booklets! This mimics the governmental booklet style very well and does a fantastic job worldbuilding. I miss the giants already.

As someone who has skimmed thousands of zines on itch.io, this is one of my favorites that I've found there. Even though it's short, I discover something new each time I reread it. I've shown it to friends and sometimes we talk about it. Whenever I think I've found some other story that I hope will remind me of this one, I only end up becoming more aware of how unique this one is.

Enjoyed the fiction through the medium of a public info guide. Was interesting the contrast of the wistfully and mysteriously portrayed giants with the government’s more practical and playful communication through the text/guide illustrations.
